Hiring managers prefer candidates with a valuable HR certification, believing that credentialed individuals build the organization’s competitive advantage and have a positive impact on financial performance. HR professionals who are certified are offered better remuneration than their non-certified counterparts. The Professional in Human Resources (PHR) program is one of the best HR certifications you can pursue, signalling your commitment to professional development in the field.
PHR is accredited by the HR Certification Institute. It demonstrates your competency of the operational and technical aspects of managing an organization’s most valuable asset – its people – as well as pertinent laws and regulations. The program’s body of knowledge encompasses all key aspects of workforce planning and employment, and employee and labor relations.
To be eligible you need to possess at least two years of experience in a human resources position and a Bachelor’s degree OR at least four years of professional HR experience and a high school diploma.
At American Certification Institute, we offer the best experience of online learning by collaborating with Cengage. Enrollment in this class includes access to Managing Human Resources, 17th Edition in ebook format. No additional purchases of textbooks are required unless you want a hard copy for your own reference.
